Been "Pimpin" on the Blazer
Soft tops are cool, but they look ratty when they are down...So I replaced the angle iron side rails with wood---that helped, but the bows still look like water pipe, so I covered them to match last year's new interior---that helped, but the ends still looked cheap, so I built these little covers to hide them---that helped, but you could still see the open spaces between the seat ends and top, so I cut these foam plugs and had them covered---now that's better.
I had the rear cover built as soon as the top went on. Without it that rear area is a mess. The top looks like a big wad of rags wrapped around the bows and it just flops in the wind. Every year I like to add a little something new. Here's the new inners ready to go in. |

Here the bows are covered, but the brackets still look crude...

72 Door panels---covered
The stock panels were getting pretty doggie, so I had them covered and the rear panels to match the late model seats. That OEM stock material is not cheap!

Sewn arm rests
I had the arm rests covered, with the visors and dash pad, so they would match the leather wheel I was putting in. Now it all matches. What next?

Nice rig, but I need to comment on your wordage. "Pimpin' " the blazer would be a word you would use if you were letting other people use your blazer for thier own enjoyment, and giving you a nice chunk of dough in return. Now Primping your blazer would be a word you would use if you were making your blazer look all prettied up. Please let me know if it is the former, and how much you charge.

Frank, thats a very Pimped Out 2 wheel Drive you got there, Yours was the very first 2 wheel drive blazer I had seen when I when I lived in Kent,Washington, and when I saw it I was on a mad hunt to find me one and I did. Thumbs Up.
