I now am the proud owner of a no spin for my eaton. (thanks nstarry). So how do I go about putting it together and in? Or does anyone know where I can find some instructions?

thanks

Is it completely apart? Or is the center section with the gears still together?

The factory shop manual has instruction on the Detroit Locker. It is not that difficult to switch gears...etc.

its completely apart. im not 100% that everythings there.

there are

2 springs, 2 spring retainers(?), 2 end pices that the retainers slide into, 2 things that go over the axels, and i want to say the clutch disc in the center (big ring with teeth on both sides that mate with the ends. looks like an egg put together. or at least how i did it.

i want to make sure everything is facing the right direction and torqued correctly. I have 74 shop manual for trucks.

do you have the manual?

thanks

I do have the manual if you want me to scan in the section for you. I could email it to you. I wonder if Detroit Locker themselves would also have some literature on setting them up? I know they don't sell them anymore but I bet they had a manual or etc.
