Tranny crossmember location
Anybody know which frame holes I need to locate my transmission crossmember to? I have (will have) a 350/350 automatic. I'm guessing it's the ones right behind the front cab mounts, but want to be sure before I start tighting everything down. Thanks, Mike

Everybody has their tricks, you might want to leave it loose until you have everything in place,(gives you moving around room)for aligning mounts and frame holes.

I usually do like sneakysnake suggested, just leave it loose in the rails till you get the eng/trans planted. Depending on where the eng sits......factory V8 position, or I 6 position will make the difference in where the trans crossmember bolts down. Good luck with the project, crazyL
