Converting 1/2 ton 75 chevy scottsdale from 2x4 to 4x4

I have a 75 chevy scotsdale c10 2x4 with a manual trans, with a front end problem. I have a mid 70's k5 blazer with no motor but good auto trans, transfer case, axles, everything. Originally i was gonna drop the 350 from the scottsdale into the blazer but i cant get it leagal due to title issues.
Is it possible and what would be involved in converting the scottsdale to 4x4. Or would it be possible or easier to switch body's with frames. Any suggestions or comments. please help.

the frames are diffrent it wont work

k-5 frames are 105" i think, and short truck frames are 113"???

you could "make it work" im sure.

welding spring perches would suck, i'd get a 4x4 truck frame, out your truck body on it, and the blaze suspention

you could always put the 350 in the blazer chassis, then put the truck body on the blazer frame...sure, it would be short...but you'd have to cut the bed into an ultra short bed, which would be kind of neat.

You'd be making on of those Truck/Blazers. Gotta love the "Ultra Short Bed" or "Blazer Bed"
