Exclamation What I've been up to and about to be doing

Well first off me and the wife are getting a divorce and that's been going well as to be expected. With no kids it helps out alot. We basically have been fighting the enevitable for awhile thinking we could patch up our differences but we've decided it's for the best that we go our seperate ways. With this I'm moving to Wichita Falls (closer to Oklahoma guys but still in Texas ) where I was born and raised and moving in with my parents. There's no reason for me to stay where I'm at. I've got no family here and they're all up there. My parents are letting me stay with them until I get a place of my own in a few months. I've gotten the go ahead from my company up there for me to transfer up there and maybe a promotion They've got some positions that I've been interested in and all come with raises I'm to start up there May 10th. So I've been getting all my packing here done here as much as possible. I've still got more to go but after she got her stuff out then it was easier to see what was left I had to get done.

This has been hard at first but then looking back at it I've realized I've got everything going for me now. I'm a soon to be single man (look out ladies!!!) , I've lost in 125 lbs. as of my 4 month anniversary date and I'm moving up with my family. No mortgage, no utilities, no car payment just help out on groceries and electric. I think I'm going to get some goodies for the Tootise Roll next month. Anyone got a legit Summit code? I may get a 2nd truck so I can spend more time with the Tootsie Roll down from time to time as now I only have it and can't keep it down anytime for long.

So I'll be hooking up with the Oklahoma guys from time to time as well as the DFW guys still. I'll be the middle man for parts running Also I'm going to try and get ahold of Matt (Blackbeast) and see what he's up to. We haven't seen him on the boards for awhile and he's a great guy to have on here.

Anyways that's what I've been up to and where I'm headed. When I get the first paycheck after all the moving expenses Summit is getting a call and a some goodies are getting ordered I'll have some parts for sale after I get all the stuff I want in and replaced.

Sounds like you have some big changes coming your way, also sounds like you are in good spirits...that will only help a hard time go smoother. Sorry to hear about the divorce, hopefully it will all work out and the next chapter in your life will be better.

Now hurry up and get some goodies for the Tootsie Roll!

Hmmm....you never know, do you? Life is strange like this. I had no idea you and your soon to be ex were having problems.

I hope everything works out for the best. I know from personal experiences, it can get tough sometimes. I've been there, done that.

Anyway, keep your chin up and stay upbeat about everything. In the end, if it's meant to be, it will work out.

On another bright side up in W.Falls I'm getting DSL finally and also have a old friend up there. She's had the same surgery as me and looks FREAKING HOT!!! Yeah guess who she's interested in after everything final!! Damn wish this divorce was coming faster. I've learned by hearing too many stories of seeing other people after the seperation but before the divorce is final to come back and bite them in the a$$. So I'm talking, flirting and dancing with the women but still not getting into too much trouble

Brandon, sorry to hear, and glad to hear all at the same time. i've got a very close friend who tells me that she has no feelings for her husband, and yet she stays with him, just because of their son. she's miserable in the meanwhile. its probably better that you went your separate ways while you still can. divorce is never a good thing, but sometimes marriage is worse (in her case, i dont know about yours). its good to hear that things are going smoothly for you, so lets see some pics of this hottie!

Wow Brandon...you've had a pretty eventful year so far and it isn't even half over. I'm sorry to hear that your marriage is ending, but you have a great attitude and seem to be excited to move onto this new beginning. A lot of people I know are in the same boat with their marriages...many just stay because they hope it'll get better or they don't want to tear apart a family and hurt children involved.

Good luck with everything and definitely keep us posted. And ditto with what Jeremy said...we need updated pics of you! (I could care less about seeing pics of the new hottie :p)

Brandon I'll give you credit. Despite all you have been through, you keep looking at the positive side. It sounds like when all this shakes out, you will be a happier man.

Congrats on the weight loss. I know the surgery was a scary step, but it looks like its' paying off. Keep us posted on your progress...

sometimes life just seems to be one long bad day... There is nothing like the feeling of major changes (specifically positive changes) and i think in your case, you know it will be better in the long run. I envy your position.. the surgery and divorce are not something that I want to ever deal with, but its all downhill from here, and you know there will be greener grass on the other side. Its inspiring, I think I need to do something of the sort.. I do have a few major changes coming up in my life real soon and they are more like obstacles but once I get over the first hard couple of months, my life will be so much better. I mean it when I say I look to some of your posts for inspiration and the backbone to do some of the stuff in my life. Im not beating around the bush, they're just not things that are really worth specifically mentioning.. Anyhow good luck, hopefully we'll see you around for a long time to come. keep us posted as always

Even though things got a little rough, sounds like everything is going your way. We'll definitely have to meet up again, I need a BBQ fix! Also, I've got a little surprise I'll be springing tomorrow I need to show you. Let me know if you need a weekend Tulsa vacation, I'll have the guest room ready.

Brandon:

Sorry to hear that you have been going through the negative pressures of a divorce. Nevertheless, you have always been a calm, reasoned, and stabilizing influence, I think, for many of us here on the various message boards. My thoughts are with you, although I think you are going to be just fine.

Good luck with it all, and I look forward to hearing more about you, and the Tootsie Roll!
