having problems with truck. need help
i own an 84 gmc 3/4 truck. when i drive it for awhile and lthe engine get heated up it cuts out. i will be driving and it feels like the power just shuts off. but the truck will stay running and everything. it just cuts out when accelerating. i think it might have soemthing 2 do with the fuse box. wondering if anyone could help me out.

Does it smell like its pouring gas out the tail pipes? If it does then take the top off the air cleaner and see if the choke is open. That is the symptoms of a bad choke element. Other things to check is fuel filter and fuel pump.
