lmc vs. a1-electric

the gmc only likes a little bit from the body man and i am looking to finish up a few minor details like adding power windows. the question i had was which set-up have any of you all used?.....lmc v. a1....any problems / concerns with either? The a1 looked easier, but was way expensive. The lmc is like $150, but is it an easy install? will it die in a month? Any info or help is greatly appreciated.

Go with the a-1 kit. Even though it is a little more expensive, it is worth the money and ease. Do it right the first time, or wait untill you can afford to do it right.

I just checked out their site again and the kit for our trucks says it does not come with wiring or switches.....i found some switches on there, but where do you get the wiring?.....call them, or rig something up on your own?....next to cheap, my biggest thing is something easy to do.....sounds like the perfect date and not a truck, doesn't it?

buy a harness from them too. it's easy to do.

I bought the kit from A-1. My hubby is installing it this week. He just started running the wires today. Great instructions and we bought all the stuff right off of the web site. It was a little spendy, but worth every penny! I will post pics of the install when we are done. I will also have info on anything to watch for. So far seems like a good kit, and we were very happy with the delivery and packaging. Everything there and was great quality.

Speciality Power windows is the best complete kit on the market. No I am not a dealer for them but I do use there kits in all my personal rides!

I used the A-1 kit am vey happy. The only thing I hade to do was trim the door a little to use the double switches on the drivers side. The chrome ones that chevy used. Im also just using the steel panels on the inside of the door.
