Hey guys,

Right now I have a 68 LWB that is nice and solid...but...I want what everyone wants. Power steering, automatic, power disc brakes, A/C and all those other goodies that you could get on the later trucks...

so...

I have located a 1971 C-10 LWB that the body is ok on but the drivetrain and everything else is in good shape. It has a good 350 4 bbl in it with a turbo 350. It also has power steering, power disc brakes, 5 lug and it is a factory A/C truck all for $2,000. To me this is a pretty good deal...I could swap out my 68 front clip onto it and any other body panels that may need replacing to make it nice.

What you guys think? Should I just get the truck and put my front clip on and go from there or should I work with what I have and add all the stuff that I want? It seems to me a no-brainer.

Any input???
