Do any of you know where to find fuel tank parts?

I want to make my own stainless tank, but I cant find the in tank fuel pump assembly or flanges that they bolt to. I need the assembly that the in tank fuel pump gets put into then bolts to the flange on the tank.
I would like to make it so I can use carburated 4 now, then switch to fuel injected later. I'm giong nuts I've searched the net for 4 hrs and still not what I need.

Any help! Any of you know a supplier?

talk to fuel cell guy. he builds his own tanks and im sure he could help you with those parts

check out: www.nolimit.net . They build aluminum fuel tanks and offer in tank pumps with their tanks as an option. Just checked their catalog, they offer a GM tbi pump for $249.

Check the street rodder publications. I know my dad bought all that kind of stuff for one of his 32's that he is building. Sending unit, with the dip tube, filler, vent, etc. I am sure I have seen it in the ads, somewhere. Have you tried a Google search for fuel tank parts? Also, you may just pick up a used tank, as it will have all the parts you need, then just fit them to your new tank. Also, and I am not trying to knock you building a tank, tanks for these trucks have been pretty well covered by the blazer tanks, kits, and poly tanks from the vendors or DIY tech articles. You may want to reasses reinventing the wheel on this one, as there are some pretty good, and inexpensive tanks out there. WHatever you decide, best of luck. Oh, and don't make it too big or you may not be able to afford to fill it up by the end of summer!

Thanks All, for the sugestions. It looks like I could make one like the no limit one. (kinda cheesy though)
Anyone have any more ideas or websites? what is the proper name for this piece anyway (fuel pickup?, fuel module?, fuel assembly?, fuel pump mount? etc...?) I can't seem to find any info on this. Am I searching wrong? I've got like a dozen hrs searching and still squat.

I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel just trying to save a little money is all thanks for any help you can give. Lance
