N2TRUX need a favor.
Can you post any pics you have of the LS1 motor mounted in the blazer? I just picked up a 2002 LM7 5.3 and am interested on how it looks/fit and any issues you ran into. From what I've been told I'll need a camaro oil pan due to the truck pan is too tall, truck or camaro fuel pump. The motor needs the starter and I need to get the S&P wiring harness. Luckily it came with a 6.0 Intake Manifold too.
I've got the 4l60e I just took out of my wifes 98 that will be getting a nice build. |

Sweet, if you can it would be greatly appreciated.
I just wanna see the clearance between the exhaust manifolds and the frame, balancer to crossmember, oil pan to crossmember and maybe the steering shaft to manifold clearance. I will be pulling the cab and the front end to do the swap but I wanna see what I have to trim/change. |

Izzy the only clearence issues I have are on the stock F-body a/c compressor. I am running the S&P shorty headers and it gets a tad close to them, but nothing major. We moved my motor around quit a bit to get it to set as high as possible and still clear everything.
Let me see what I have for ya....

Awesome. Thanks for the pics.
I was just worried the collector flange on the headers would get close to the frame. I’m glad you posted a pic of the S&P motor mounts because those are the ones I’ll be ordering. I’m not gonna run a/c in the truck so I don’t have to worry about the compressor. |

Well S&P Is the only one that makes the wiring harness I'll need too so hopefully I'll have good luck.
I'm not gonna roll this sucker daily anyway but if it gets too unbearable I'd rather get a Vintage Air unit anyway and I have a brand new delco Sanden compressor sitting in the shed. |
