Can someone recommend a good electric fuel pump?
My current electric fuel pump is factory set to 2.5psi. I need 5 - 6.5 psi for my edelbrock 1400 series carb. Can anyone recommend a brand that will work for my application, maybe one someone is currently using with good success.

I'm going to piggy back on this guys thread and ask about where you mounted it and how quiet it is. I've got a Carter that does a great job, but is loud enough to hear over the exhaust.

Blue68 - WHere did you mount your carter. I just bought a Carter, and hooked it up yesterday. Man is it loud. I made the mistake of mounting it right under the cab where there was room, and it is really loud inside the cab.
Works great , but I need to quiet it down.

Me too, my Carter is mounted on the passenger side frame rail, with rubber mountings and it's still loud.

Passenger side frame rail. It's almost as loud as the exhaust, at least I can hear it outside the cab almost as well as in the cab. Went so far as to take thick rubber two motor mounts, split them in half and use longer bolts trying for more insulation. No luck. Now, I'm trying to find out if there are other's that will be quiter.
It does a great job of supplying fuel, but it's a loud piece of equipment.
