2wd coil lift

I have a 72 c20 and i want a little more ground clearance(2-3"), and i want to level it out. its coils front and back, I thought of getting 1 ton coils all around, but i'm not sure if such a thing exists, and i'm sure the ride would be terrible. I could also get new 3/4 coils to replace my worn out 3/4 coils - that might raise it a bit, but i was wondering if anyone had any other ideas to get 2-3 inches lift in a C20

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=100058 1 tons won't do any lifting, I tried the same thing with 3/4's on my 1/2t and only got a stiffer ride out of it. BB springs will lift it in a SBC but it also gets you a stiff ride.

thanx guys, Slam33 - you said that big block coils would lift a SB truck, but would big block coils be taller than stock 3/4 ton coils? i'm not sure if they came in BB and SB forms... also, could you post the picture of your truck? it doesn't seem to be in the other thread. also, do you have anymore info about the plate you used to lift the front? thanx

one note, you won't find one ton coils for the back...they were all leaf spring trucks.
