Talking Funny thing happened today!

I was coming back from a meeting at work in the company truck, and mind you I've been keeping my eyes open for parts that go on the truck my sons building, recall his was stolen a few weeks back and I bought him a fixer upper to fill the void, well there was this little red c-10 fleetside sitting there on the side of the road bright red completely stock, ralley wheels. So I called my wife thinking that this would work for my son while he finished his project well lol and behold she tells me why don't you buy it for yourself and let him use it until he finishes his project, she met me for lunch and to look at it, yep that baby is parked in my driveway right now, what a woman! I knew spending a little extra on her from time to time would pay off. Well honestly we were looking for a flatbed trailer, but we decided this would work out better. Sure it has a few small dings, the motor probaly will need replaced but this baby is bone stock, even the clock in the dash is still ticking away, original paint, dash pad-perfect, even has the original owners manual and black case, and the accesory sheet in the glove box.

What was even funnier was when I was driving it home the price was still on the windshield I was asked about it, I said I just bought it, they said they would pay more for it. Now even funnier, my son now just got to see it, he wants it, he can't believe I bought it. Oh well. I'll try to have picks tomorrow.

Tom

Nice truck. Looks like you found a good deal. Got to like red trucks. Is it a 87? Looks like I see the EFI emblem on the rear.

Thanks for the comments everyone, yes one is truly a keeper, shes been with me for over 26 years now and she helped me purchase all four of my k5 blazers and fix them up, in fact shes been outside helping pull engines and trannys for both my sons and my vehicles. Now for more info, its a 86, the badge is the dealership badge from the globe/miami which is a couple of hours away from Phoenix, so its been in az all these years. Were hoping to use it on some remodeling projects then clean it up and use it to advertise my business, architectural & engineering design.
