I found a front sway bar off of a 74 chevy. It is a one ton truck and the guy at the junk yard told me that it won't fit on my standard 67 pickup. The only difference I did notice is that it doesn't have the "eyes" on the ends where the end links would fit into. Question is--was he right, or do i go get this thing and pray that it will line up with my suspension? Thanks in advance for any info.

is this 4x2 or 4x4? if 4x4 i don't think it will fit. not sure about 2wd never been around them

4X2 on mine and the donor vehicle....(hopefully donor vehicle)....

they arent eyes like for end links but rather the sway bar slides into bushings that are bolted on top of the a arm

I have been under the inpression that all sway pars off of all 2 wheel drive trucks would work from 63 to 87...10 series to 30 series.
But that is what I have read on here, i have never swapped out sway bars.

I did a big FAQ with pictures on installing a 73-87 sway bar on our trucks. If you read the article, I gave lots of part numbers and details. All 2WD bars interchange up to 87 and even through 91 off of Suburbans and 1 ton trucks.
