Dual A/C
I am considering buying a '69 Chevy Burb. It has SBC. I would like to run front/rear air. Vintage Air has the complete unit minus the rear air for about $1100. Will a rear air unit out of a '73-91 Burb bolt in place? Vintage Air says their unit is adaptable to this. Any pitfalls, suggestions, or shortcuts does anybody know about this? Has anybody done this? Thanks.

Hey Guys,
I'm building a suburban with the same setup. Steve Black, with Steve's Classic Auto Air is the man to talk to. He is a Vintage Air Dealer and has done several dual air setups. He is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Another board member has used him recently and posted how helpful he was on the board. He is located in Houston, but he will ship anywhere. His number is 713-688-3884. Good Luck.

On my 72 with factory daul a/c,there is just a T fitting in the 2 lines.1 on the high side and 1 on the low.The lines run along the frame, then crossover above the rear of the trans. They then enter the floor and run along the inside of the q-panel,and up the inside of the rear post and into the rear overhead unit.
