computor placement
With an AC cab- where have you guys mounted your TBI computors and still got the harness to fit?

The TBI computers must be mounted in a water tight location. The later ECMs 96-up can be mounted any where under the hood.

Fortunatly I don't have AC to contend with when I mounted my ecm and new circuitry for the tbi setup. If you have enough wire sitting around you would extend it back under the seat. Or, do some work with the glovebox
 There's enough room under the dash and above the fuse block but you'd have to make up a set of brackets for it and still extend the wires possibly. |

I mounted mine under the glove box (it'll interfere with the shape of the cardboard somewhat but I'm not too worried about it). Used two pieces of aluminum. Mounted one end of each to the firewall (between blower motor and heater core) and the other end to the bottom of the dash below where the glove box hinges mount. I'll get a pic of the inside of the glovebox if you want.
Here's a pic(sorry for bad quality) showing where I drilled the hole for the wiring to come through. You can also see the two phillip head bolts between the blower motor and heater core, each holding one bracket on the inside of the truck. Not sure exactly what the differences are with an A/C cab. I'm sure you'll be able to get something to work... Time to get creative

I don't have AC but I mounted mine in between firewall and heater box, I think my Holley Commander 950 is smaller than the GM Box as well.

I saw an old hot rod in Orange, where the guy fab'd a box into the inner fender. Looked nice and clean.
