poly cab mounts

Im thinking about ordering a set of poly cab mounts for my '84. Do they come complete with bolts & washers or will I have to buy them seperatly?

My PST ones came with the washers, but you have to supply your own bolts. You can get new grade 8 ones at any hardware store relatively cheap.

Hmmm.....my PST body mounts didn't come w/ washers. Oh well, I bought all-new hardware from LMC.

My question is what does everyone think of the Poly Mounts. I have the front clip off my 76 to do some detail work and want to replace the cab and raditor mounts. What are your opinions. Thanks

I put poly cab/radiator mounts and it was well worth it. I didn't use them anywhere else. From what I heard, the ride gets pretty hard.

Cool Polyurethane EVERYwhere !?

Just my opinion, but there's too much polyurethane in the world. Why would you want to do away with the ride dampening and insulating value of the factory rubber mounts, and replace them with hard, inflexible poyurethane ? Maybe you'll get an extra hundredth of a G on the skidpad, but for a daily driver it makes no sense to me. I forgive you guys who have done it-- I almost went for a set myself, until I read a short article by a manaufacturer of leaf springs who was pointing out that the leaf springs need to have flexible rubber in the eye bushings (not poly) to work as designed. I think the only place you might benefit from poly is in the swaybar.

I'm in agreement with GARMCo. In the not too distant future, all my Energy Suspension stuff is going to be replaced with good ole' stock rubber stuff. I am for one, tired of the beating I have to take every time I drive my truck. I was smart enough to replace the old stock rubber body mounts with new GM stock rubber ones. But, I was dumb enough to use polyurethane everywhere else. One thing is for sure though, it will tighten it up. It will handle as good as most cars, and better than some. Not a bad thing at all. But this comes at a big cost of ride quality. And this cost gets old fairly quick.

Of course this wasn't your question. But I thought I would throw in my nickels worth even if it didn't apply to the question at hand.

I'll throw my money in here aswell..
I put the PST Front Kit on my truck, and it's been bouncing ever since. NOW, SINCE then, I replaced my cab/body mounts with PolyUrethane (Energy Suspension) ones, and it seemed to smooth out the ride...dunno why, but yeah. I know for a FACT though, that I won't be putting ANYTHING but rubber bushings in my leaf spring eyes.
