Cab to Bed distance

Can anyone provide the measurement between the cab and bed of a 56 SWB stepside? I'm getting ready to mount the bed on this 80 frame and would like to have it in the ballpark.

is the 80 chassis a 2 or 4wd, and is it from a pu or blazer? as far as bed to cab gap i would say about an inch give or take.

The frame and drivetrain are from a 1980 3/4 ton 4x4 truck. Thanks for the info. I finished the bed supports and will put the bed back on tomorrow.
