The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago, it turned out to be one of the later episodes of copperhead that we've all seen 29 times.

No, it is the rerun of the assembly of the bed and what not. Not finishing it.

I just watched one of the shows and they had a remote gas filler door that made one of the bed slats rotate up on hinges so you could get to the filler neck on a rear tank set-up. Anyone ever seen this before/ know where to get one?

That filler door is available thru Legends hot rod(I think that's the name).I don't know their website but it is also listed in several of the street rod magazines.I think it runs around $500.00. or so.That's a bit high in my opinion.

I happened to catch the assembly of the bed. I came in 1/2 way through, and missed the seller of the polished bed strips with no bolts showing. Anyone know the veder and or price?
I have been thinking of taking my stock metal ones, and filling the bolt holes and welding headless bolts on the bottom for the same effect, but theres is shiney, and mine would be POR black.

What do you mean exactly by "when it came in"? If you mean when the truck originally rolled into the shop, well, it never did really, it started out as a bare frame and a bare cab, and he built it from there. There has never been a hood on it on any episode I have seen, and I think he will finish it, but at this rate my truck will be done first (and I haven't even started to tear mine apart yet )!

I saw that show but I thought maybe I missed a earlier one with a whole truck. I wonder if it really is a 67 cab with that big back window?

I just caught the last few minutes of the show yesterday evening. Does anyone know where they bought the bucket seats for the truck?
