Rear Airbags?

Has anyone used the Firestone F9000 airbag and towed anything with the truck? I am thinking of using them on the rear of my truck and want to be able to tow a boat or car trailer. Thanx

You can tow with em yes, i know ppl using the art airbar to tow, but i would go with a double conv (bellow bag). I dont think the 9000 will tow very much, plus they are easier to rip, tear apart, etc.

they tow fine, but look into the early classic bags they sell. They are rated at likke 3800lbs each and ride good. f9000 can handle 3000 total.

since you guys run f9000 i heard you cant drop them all the way or it will tear them up.
also are they pretty tough for not hauling stuff or like a weekend cruizer.

If you drop em too far they'll bottom out and can rip/tear up the end plates, etc. If you dont have something to stop the lift, they'll literally pull themselves apart. A lot of ppl, like ART's kits, they use the shocks to limit both up and down.
