It will make an excellent starter motor if you've got a big block in there..

I've heard those Hyundai motors are Great! They make really powerful lawn mowers & go carts.

In all reality, probably no. its a fwd engien that would be severely underpowered for the application. wiring would be a problem too. so no, it wont work sorry. the fwd part alone would probably kill the deal

i garantee you you could make it work...it would cost way to much and wouldn't be practical and you would be stoned alive and then we would blow up your creation...but it would be possible...where there's a will there's a way...but why would you have the will?

Not sure the gas mileage would be that great. You would really have to have that thing wound up just to move the truck.

Not in 78, my corvette only had 185 stock and some only had 175.

according to hot rod magazine the best 350 ever was the 70 1/2 camaro motor which had 370 horses and 380 torque. and the worst was in most cars and light duty trucks. with the 2 barrel in 71 and 72 it had a blistering 165 horses. and in 73 it had 145 horses....so some chevy v8s aint such a far cry from ricer power levels.

in 76 corvettes had 180 camaros had 165 and the standard issue 350 had 155 hp
in 77 camaro z28s had 170 hp
in 78 there was one 350 for corvettes with 195 horse and one special one with 225 horses

horsepower wouldnt be the issue, torque would. the v8 would have probably double the torque that 4 cylinder would. and torque is what gets you moving.... at full throttle youd probably be really bored
