Truck Width
I getting ready to go pick my 67C10 truck up with a trailer and I'm not sure how wide it is. The trailer I have is 75" wide and 15' long do you guys think thats enough? or is the truck wider then that?

If it's a 4x4 maybe. If it's a 2wd, yes, as long as it doesn't have wide wheels or is lowered alot. I put 15x7's with 9.50 wide tires on my 4x4 suburban and on a 77" wide trailer I have to squish 3/4" of sidewall on each side to get it on the trailer. I put my 2wd on another flatbed that was 76" wide with the same tires and had about 3/4" to spare on each side. However, it's lowered and I had to put 2 16' 2x10's under each side so te body and bumper didn't hit the 1' side rails.

Not even close if it is a 4x4. My front end wouldnt fit on a trailer that was 77" wide between the wheel wells.

It's a 2 wheel drive and I have 31x10.50r15's on it I belive the rims are 15x8's. O yea and it's not lowered it has the stock springs.

How far are you towing it, and whats the tow rig?
A tow bar may be easier depending on the two questions above. |

I'll be towing approx 325 miles and towing with my 96 suburban.

Personally, I would use a tow bar...I got one at wall mart for 100 bucks, and it has proved to be invaluable to me.
Hauled my 69 from Tx to Ohio...1300 miles Hauled the Longhorn from easter PA back here to Ohio 430 miles. Hauled POS Ford Ranger to junk yard Hauled POS S-10 Blazer to junk yard Hauled POS S-10 from indian to Ohio...400 miles Have it sittin right here by the desk ready to haul my lincoln one day...it IS a ford product. |
