nice truck, one day i helped out my sister by taking all the scrap wood from her deck to throw out. at a traffic light some guy started yelling at me telling me my '71 chevy was a 50 somthing chevy and it shouldnt be used to haul anything. i was sooo amazed that this guy was yelling at me all i could spit out was it's a 1971 chevy truck and trucks were ment to be used, plus i built it..... the guy kept yelling and wouldnt beleave me. But very nice truck and i am glad to see people using them for what they were designed to be used for....... not like today when u get a 4x4 or a pickup just to say you have 4 wheel drive or a pickup but dont use it for what it is intended to be used for.

You shoulda seen my SWB last week. (bummer I didn't have my camera with me) I had the rear coils completely stacked up...basicly in coil bind loaded down with bricks. Mufflers got some scratches on them, and it almost didn't make it into my dad's driveway, but the ol'girl didn't let me down.
Stopping it was fun though.

Heck, you don't even have it squated down with that load, these trucks are like timex watches...take a licking, and keep on ticking, lol.

Question

Like everyone else, I don't like F@@ds. But ya gotta admit, this one is tough! Maybe we should use them to haul anything heavy?

Take a look at the truck that the 'plump' chicks are in...that's a chevy. The ford is off to the left.

I recognized it was a GM,too. Then I noticed,"Dang! What`s that thing haulin`?"Just shows where our priorities are.Didn`t look long enough to see a Ford, though.Remember when the"truck-owners"of today made fun of the hillbillies in the pick-up truck yesterday?I remember laughing at them driving down the road, one arm out the window, trying to hold a sheet of 1/4"paneling on,along with some string.

Glad to see everyone still has a sense of humor. Saw that and it just kinda fit. Was told the truck was a F@@d. Didn't have my glasses on. I always thought they used a semi to haul hogs? Maybe the guy worked for GreenPeace and was just trying to get them back into the water?

too bad i never got a pic of my old '67 3/4 ton with the mustang loaded in the back. and not a horse i'm talking about a ford mustang. it was just the shell no front clip or doors but it still was funny looking and the rear of the truck didnt even squat.
