Could I run a 36" tire with a 6" lift on my 71???
Ordered my 6" lift for my 71 and already have my rims. Trying to decide on a tire now. Was leaning toward 35x12.5x15 BFG Mud Terrain's. I've also been looking at Super Swamper TSL 36x12.5x15. Could I run this tire with my lift? I'm not a 'serious' off-roader that will be twisting the suspension up. I just don't want them to rub while turning. Thanks!

i've heard of people running 4" and 35s, dont see why 6" and 36s would be a problem.

Just watch some 36s are bigger than 36". While the 35" BFGs are actually smaller than 35". The 33" TSLs I had were closer to 34". Anyway you could test fit them or are you mail ordering? If they rub w/ 6" lift you could always add a zero rate or slightly longer shackle for extra clerance.
