Yep thats what I thought they were. Time to call the place that did it and speak to my buddy the service manager and raise a little hell. What happens if these things fall out?
Thanks

I stop. Rather quickly. Whats my best course of action here? Loosen the bolt up to get the pos shims in and tighten enough to get the truck to the shop and repaired?

From the looks of those shims I would say your front has been dropped quite a bit with springs? Thats usually about how much it takes (shim thickness) to get camber and caster back near spec. But most of the time they will at least try to use factory shims or at least fabricate some better than those. What I would do is measure the thickness of those shims, get a factory shim for a pattern and some stock near the thickness you need and make some new shims. Even if they are not right on at least they will be close enough that they can use some additional factory shims for final adjustment.

Woah...looking at the pic again, those may be normal shims coming out...maybe loose nuts holding the upper controll arm on? (!!!!!)
Hit those two nuts with a long wrench and see if they move....tighten them up and go straight to the schmuck who did the work if you can.
Fix it asap regardless of who you go to.

They dont move much. If I loosen the nut about 2-3 turns I am sure I can get them back in. Would this be ok to do?

As long as you tighten them back up with all you have.
I would just torque them down with the crap sticking out myself. (Onless you have to go 20 miles to the alignment place)

With them sticking out, you have proof anf a leg to stand on. I would demand that they remove the bolts and either flat out replace them or inspect them for damage. I would also want some sort of proof that they were removed for inspection...picture, or while you wait, or maybe you can put a dab of black paint on the threads towards the end of the bolt and check to see of the paint was disturbed if they try saying "we pulled them out and it looked good".
