guys i need your help!
well i just have a simple question i have a np 205 tc and i have spicer hubs and a dana 44 front axle 14b rear and even when i have it in 2 wheel drive once i start going the front driveshaft starts spinning not super fast but fast enough i was wondering when i have it in 4 wheel drive it starts spinning as soon as the truck starts moving but when its in 2 wheel it wont start spinning until about 10 mph any help would be appreciated thanks mike

It's just the gear lube causing enough drag in the gears to make them rotate. A lighter lube or a synthetic lube may stop it if it is annoying you, but it is not required.

both mine do it, like Mr. longhair said. It's drag from the gear oil.

I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm |
