Floor Shifter

Is there any Floor Shifter out there that will closely match the NP205 Tranfer case Shifter? Maybe even share somewhat the same boot for a cleaner look? Has anyone tried this? I think that the Lokar shifter might come close if it were the right length (although different color.)

Anyone?

Thanks

By a"Floor Shifter" I mean for an Automatic TH350 moving from the column to the floor next to or close to the Transfer case shifter.
Thanks

I'm looking to do the same thing with mine... I want a tilt column, with a floor shifter that resembles a stock stick shift. IMO, the Lokar shifter doesn't quite look right, mainly because of the boot and shifter knob although they do come in various lengths and they even have a retro swan stick.

Try looking into the Genie Shifter. It works like a column shift on the floor. It doesn't have the lock-out button in the middle of the shifter knob so you can use a larger stock-looking rubber knob or whatever floats your boat.

The other option is B&M style or Art Carr shifters but again, different look.

I'm still not sure which way I will go. I'll be hooking it up to a 700R4. BobK has had good luck with the stock column shifter and can grab all his gears. Perhaps an after market column.... whatever... won't know 'tell I get there!

The aluminum plate in fron of the t-case shifter is because I installed a 700r4, which moved the t-case backward about 3 inches.

CO2 blast under the hood in case of fire. The line goes thru the floor and tees off to either side of the engine. One side terminates where my fuel lines pass thru the frame up to the TBI and the other ends near the alternator and all my wiring. I figure those are the most likely starting places of a fire. CO2 will kill the fire and the engine without hurting anything or leaving a chemical residue. I had a fire once in another truck (my first: a '79 K5). I was back on the road in 30 minutes because folks stopped by with an extinguisher. I guess I'm a little paranoid after that. I'd hate to have a car-B-Q with the Fox!
