car seats / buckets

Has anyone put car seats in their truck? I have seen a number of you guys install newer truck buckets and such. Is their an issue with the car seats sitting down way too low or something? I suppose if they are too low some nice looking spacer blocks could be made. Just wondering if anyone has done it. any pics? thanks ...

I got mine out of an 88 4 door Nova. Cost all of 30 bucks. Had to have some 3 inch risers bent to make them the right height. They fit the curve of the gas tank well. They also have manual lumbar and height adjustment lever.

I installed a set of buckets from a '72 Chevelle in the '67. I used 2" square tubing to raise them up to the right height. Since these pics, I've removed the incab tank.

Someone here on the board had seats out of a Fiero that looked really good. I'll do some looking to see if I saved the pic.
