Speedo Cable...
Can anyone give me the part number of a speedo cable for a 69 4x4 truck? I suspect that mine is on it's last legs and would like to replace it but have no idea how to find the proper one. As I do believe there is a few different ones out there and one difference being for 4wd and one for 2wd.
Thanks Brian

I just take the old one to the parts store to compare lengths. I have done this a couple of times since I keep getting the cable in the exhaust

You can replace just the inside cable w/ a cut to length kit from your local auto parts store. Or identify your ends thread on or snap on and call one of the board vendors. The speedo end is thread on but at the TC it could either be thread on or snap on. FYI my 70 and 71 both w/ 205s are thread on and use an 83" speedo cable.

the speedo cable originally attached to my Rockwell fits on my '70 NP205 (screw on), if it helps. This might be a universal size fitting.

So I can just remove the inner cable and measure it and have one cut to length from a kit. Anyone know off hand whether a NP208 TC has a threaded or snap on connection?
Thanks for the Info Guys!
