GM 12 bolt on another chevy

Will a GM 12 bolt, coil spring rear, out of one of our truck fit an earlier model truck as a bolt in? Specifically, can I put it in a 64 C-10, coil spring truck??

Thanks, I appreciate the help. I think the '64's were the same as the later years as well.
