Do I need premium?

Ok this may sound stupid, so be prepared... That said, here it is.

Do I need to put premium gas in my 73? The oldest car I've had prior to this was an 87 and I just don't know! My boyfriend told me that i need to, but I thought I'd ask you guys, cause he knows all about 12volt stuff, he rattles of GM wiring colors in his sleep, but a mechanic he is not! So what do you guys use? What difference will I have running premium as opposed to plus or regular? Thanx for not laughing at me! ( yes, I'm assumiong your not laughing at me, just don't tell me otherwise! lol)

Unless you got some performance mods on the motor, just run pump gas (regular)

no need for it, maybe later on if you decide to install a cam, new heads and such them you may. but for a stock 350, that may or may not have been a leaded engine to begin with reg unleaded should be fine.
