price ranges on paint and blasting
hey all, im looking for some guidance on how much i can expect to pay for a great paint job im talking inside and out cab, fire wall, inner fenders, bed inside and out . base coat clear coat of coarse two tone orange and white . white roof, than orange, white middle than orange again down at the bottom. the truck is in its oraganal orange paint and is fading away no rust holes just some minor surface rust on the drivers side. its originaly from arizona. of coarse i would do the tear down my self and would bring this to a shop in pieces . just a round abouts average cost or range would be very helpful .
also the complete rolling frame blasted and painted i figured with all these great looking paint jobs you guys are posting latley you guys got a good idea of what im in for as far as cost. also open for recomendations for places to get this stuff done in the new jersey area i know this may be a long shot being that there arnt that many from jeresy here. any help would be greatly apreciated THANKS JOHN FROM JERSEY

Paint
Depending of course on the labor rate you get and the total amount of body work needed to get ready for paint...I'd say be ready for $4,000.00 give or take...

I just had my 71' swb painted where the painter or shop took everything apart...I mean everything, glass out, doors disassembled, gas tank out...freaking everything. All pieces that needed it were soda blasted. He is also putting it all back together. Price quote from paint shop: $3000.00. He says he will not do it again for less than $6000.00. Did you see the pic of my newly painted 71'?
Here's the link to the pics or thr newly painted 71' SWB: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=106107

sounds like a bargin to me alex. yes i did see your truck it looks awsome. $6,000 and i get to sit back in my hamick while someone else does the work BARGIN. But i think spending 4k and putting it together myself would make me feel like i contribted at least a little, i would be happy going this rout. i guess i was expecting more because i just got an quote to replace my left front fender and paint it on my 03 , 1150 cash i passed on that, ill keep looking for a better price.
guyryan that sounds good . is that the going rate or is that cheap. vtblazer i wouldnt mind being in that ball park for the frame and sheet metal. now if i could only find sombody local (i mean nearby to do it) ill ask around at the local shows when i get a chance to go to one (after mid august, works keeping me busy right now) <---thats a good thing the moneys gotta come from some where. thanks for the replies fellas.
