leaf spring is 2.5 " on my truck. need a poly kit with all 6 bushings for the rear. spent 2 hours driving around today, only thing i found was the dealer has whole shackle with bushing installed for 30.00 each but i want poly as already got poly for all body mounts and the front springs.

i got the poly bushings for the longhorn @ http://www.*****************/ . these came with a 2 pc urathane bushing, innner sleeve, & also an outer weld ring(for building ladder or 4 link bars). the ladder idea was scrapped after i spent a load of $ on a new mig welder the bushings fit in my old leafs (2 1/2" wide, X 1 1/2" hole). the pcs were approx $10 ea , + shipping. you might also try Summit racing, or Jegs on the bushing kits....that sounds like a popular size. Best of luck, crazyL

ok thanks guys got the bushing prob takin care of. the problem was with the wording from energy suspension. there wording says"Chevrolet/GMC: 1967-87 K-Series pickup, Blazer, Jimmy, Suburban, 4WD, with 1 1/2 in. O.D. rear frame shackle, rear leaf spring bushings" the outer diameter of the shackle is what places told me needed to be 1.5" and mine was 2.0" . after calling energy suspension they measured and said there wording is wrong it should read. "Chevrolet/GMC: 1967-87 K-Series pickup, Blazer, Jimmy, Suburban, 4WD, with 1 1/2 in. O.D. bushing, rear leaf spring bushings" they said it like this on all there books and ads so if see be warned if getting bushings. after determing was right kit i ordered no prob from summit. thanks again guys.

did you go with poly bushings? i got mine out and new ones fit in no prob with poly bushings from energy suspension. i had to remove the ones from the springs too but took so long to get other ones out that i took somewhere and had pressed out. cost 60.00 to get pushed out on all 4 springs but was done in 30 min. guy at place said they use a exhaust bender to push out cus seems to work the best. 32106-R was the part number i used for the rear.

the springs i just pressed out in a vice. very easy. but their was no way in the world those bushings where going to fit properly in my shackles without the inner sleeve because the hole wasnt the exact same diameter on both ends that is the purpose of the sleeve to make the hole true so the bushing wont wobble in it i just finished mine about 2 hrs ago

hmm i never heard of a tapered spring eye, which vehicle this on? i measured mine and its not tapered at all and they fit tight as hell on mine and what holds it tight is shaft through the center. im using aftermarket springs are you as well?

I had to tap my bushings in with a rubber mallet, after torching the sleeves out , they fit tight. i have heard that on the coil trucks, the outer sleeve needs to be in the trailing arm for the bushings to fit properly... crazyL

mine is on a 72 swb 4x4 and am using aftermarket 4" lift on one side the bushing was very tight and on the other side it was a little sloppy so i put the sleeve back in and it corrected the problem
