How much to ask for a 69 C10?

Well, I hate to do it, but I am thinking about selling my 69 C10 because I'm swamped with other projects and it just sits....

So I was wondering what you guys think I could ask for it?

Here's the specs:

1969 C10
350 4-bolt main (recently rebuilt)
THM350
long box

currently primer grey
needs brake work
needs alternator

I could either sell it running or not... Or I thought about keeping the drivetrain and selling the 'shell'... how much could I ask in each situation?

Depending on the whole rust factor here. If you have a really nice body on it , it runs well, and is ready for paint or close to it you could get anywhere between $2000 and $8000. Pictures would be a huge help. It's kinda hard to make a guesstimate on a truck without pics of everything.

Yeah, $500 I would say. The term primered and ready for paint means it needs to be sanded off and primered again, just before you shoot the color on it. Primer is like a sponge and it it sits on the truck for any amount of time, its full of moisture. I would spent the time to get the brakes working as I doubt anyone would want to buy without driving it. Alternators are about $35 for a rebuilt. Spend the money now and you will definetly get it in return. Selling a truck with a lists of negitives most of the time will be sitting in your driveway 6 months from now as no one wants to buy anything these days you cant drive home. Ive sold many trucks and its unreal all the calls from guys that expect a primo truck for not so much of a price. A 35 year old truck will have some defects.. Good luck with your sale...
just my opinion.....

Here's the engine:

I've got a chrome open element that goes on that Holley...

And here is an older pic of the truck itself:

The crap isn't in the back anymore... I also have a grille and new bumper for the front. The rockers are a little rough and the holes from the body molding need to be taken care of.

The interior has a grant and will get bucket seats and a console from a 76 K5 shortly.

I'm not really sure I can part with it, but thought I'd get an idea of what I could ask if I decided to go through with it...
