Exclamation New Member Introduction

Hello everyone! I just joined about 5 minutes ago. I wanted to introduce myself and show everyone my pride and joy! My name is Shane and I live in the OKC, OK area. Anyone else on the board from Oklahoma? I have been looking for the "perfect" truck for almost a year now. I finaly found a truck that I really liked and bought it about 3 months ago. Its a 1970 Chevy K10 pickup with a 350 engine, 4spd tranny, A/C, P/S, PB & 3 gas tanks! It was a California one owner truck with 71,000 miles on it. The old man who bought it new in 1970 died and his son in law had it forsale out where I work. I have replaced the cab mounts and installed a crappy am/fm radio so I can get some tunes untill get to the interior. Everything seems mechanicly sound and only a sprinking of surface rust that I have seen. I am pretty much going to give it a tune-up, replace the brake pads and then start fixing her up the way I want her. My first goal is to install a K407 superlift 4" kit with some BFG 33" MT's. My first question is what brand of lift kit do most of you guys run? Well I am going to through a couple of pictures up here. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions please feel free to share, this is my first truck.

i don't know if those bumpers were standard on some or just a factory option, but there was one on my '67 when i picked it up.

yes they are very hefty and plenty heavy. you could definitely do some damage with that thing
