anyone know what rpo code Z62 is? It says: cust comf & conv eq
what does that mean?

Did these trucks ever come from the factory with a sliding rear window?

Also, how do I find out what rear-end gear ratio I have, it's a 3/4 ton.

I think it has to do with the in side trim pos carpet ect based on a few of the glove box decals on the post in my signature.

Yes on the sliding rear window.

Not sure what it is either. Have you checked a Chevy or GMC dealer? I found that on this website:

Jack the rear end of the truck up so that the rear wheels spin. Put a mark on the drive shaft yoke. Spin the tire one rotation and count the number of times the yoke spins. I.E. If it spins 3x you have a 3.08:1 close to 4x you have 3.73:1. Also if the tag is on the diff cover it will tell you.

sweet the gear ratio tag was still there. I have 4.10's. Too bad it's not posi though.
