Interior upgrade
I have a 1975 Cheyenne. I am considering upgrading to a newer interior, circa 83-86, and I am needing to know how difficult this is to do, and if there are any things I need to know in advance.
I realize that it will be necessary to use the later wiring harness because of the later guages and the stalk controls. What about the dash pad? Is the newer flat-style interchangeable with the older style that I have? Tilt steering column? For reference, my truck does not have cruise control, but it does(or did) have AC. No power anything except brakes and steering. Thanks!

The dash pads will interchange. The columns will interchange if you address the wiring differences between the column and the truck. You may also have to change the shaft that couples the column to the steering box, they differ between the earlier and later trucks.
