Today was the day. I had a rollbar made and while he was at it he was able to install step bars. I bought the steps at a swap meet about a year ago. They were made to fit a Toyota, but they were a good deal and luckily he made them work. Sorry for picture size, I'm a little new at posting my own pictures. (Resizing and all)

Here are the pics of the step bars. They may be a little short, but I got them for $40 at a swap meet, and they work. I'm sure it will look better once the blazer is painted. One step at a time.

I'm with jimmy72, where are they mounteD? oooh ya, lookin good too! I like how the bars going to the wheel wells slant out as they go back. I like the stance of your ride too, whats the tire/lift(if any) sizE?

Thanks for the compliments guys and gals. I will take some pics of how he mounted the bars. They are mounted to the frame using some bar and welding. They flex a bit, but I dress out at 250 and they hold me.
The rollbars going out so wide worry me come soft-top time, but he told me we could adjust them if there were any problems. And yes there is a bikini top in the future. Today I went to SuperChevy and spent some time with Tim Christian and Panel Deland. Bought a body mount set, inner-fender, and most importantly a Goodmark lettered tailgate. Once I do the body mounts, I'll take the top off and hopefully get to work on some of the panels. Next time I get under her I'll snap some pics of how he mounted the step bars.

d@mn i forgot all about the super chevy show i was planning on going to it but my buddy called and invited us to go to the mud boggs with him and it slipped my mind

After finishing the body mounts I took some pics of how the nerf bars were mounted. I'm not too sure about the mounting, but it works. The welder offered to weld in another brace, but it seems to work as it is. These were from a mid 90's Toyota I believe.
