If I had a collar from a 4spd tilt,will it be all I need to convert an auto column?Also,remove linkage.

If you change the shift bowl, cut off the linkage arm, and make a cover for the lower end the appearance will be real close. I would also suggest screwing the cover on with the right length screws so that you lock the shift tube in place.
