Considering what I paid for mine, those look like some good deals.

As soon as I get the O'Ladys basement finished I'm going to get a trailer and start buying trucks again.

you can get some good deals on there I have bought 3 in the last 9 months - 3 months ago I picked up my 88 Suburban 6.2 4x4 - Very good body (very minor rot behind the rear tires which is already fixed) and interior, you can tell that it was pampered (garaged kept) for most of it's life, problems I found when I picked it up - heater core leak and the fuel line under the manifold leaks, just this past week the charging system and tranny have started acting up but I still think I got a good deal at $2,300.

about 5 months ago I got my 65 Thunderbird, interior is about 85 percent mint with 2 small rips in the ceiling panel, 1 rip on the side of the drivers seat (common spot on these old birds), heater core bypassed, body rot along the rockers - minor on the passenger side, fairly moderate on the drivers side with some real hokey patch work - just finished the bodywork yesterday and have it primered and put the base coat on this morning. drivetrain had a couple of vacuum leaks but capped them off and you can feel the 300 horses the 390 puts out. Was driving it the day after I got it. Paid $1,000 plus $390 to have it shipped from Virginia to Georgia.

9 months ago 85 BMW 325E - would not stay running, none of the electric windows/sunroof worked - put about $20 in parts and a couple of days labor - the boot to the airflow meter and a couple of vacuum lines were shot, fixed those and it started right up and ran great, the windows were real easy, while it was parked someone stole the stereo - right above that is a button that is really a circuit breaker for the windows and sunroof, hooked it up and everything worked, paid $503.00 plus gas to indiana and back - sold it (to buy the thunderbird) within 1/2 hour of putting the for sale sign on it for $1,400 (I figured to haggle down to around $1,000 but the first person to stop just had to have it and did not try to haggle at all LOL)

now not all vehicle purchases are that good - bought a 88 dodge conversion van a couple of weeks before buying the burb. I knew it was needing some cosmetics, but they assured me that the drivetrain was in great condition, picked it up and it started right up with no funny noises, etc. made it 32 miles before the bottom of the engine decided it preferred florida then georgia and dropped out - I ended up having to leave it in a staples parking lot since I had limited time - lost $325.00 that I paid for it plus which really tee's me off the $40 in gas I put in it 10 miles before the engine threw a rod - no money back from the seller. found out afterwards that yes it ran great but for the last 3 years it was not driven over 35 mph and was basically just something to run to the hardware store in which was only a couple of miles away -
