Question How difficult to install th350 kickdown cable?

as the title states i need to install a kickdown cable in my truck. the only caveat is that the engine and tranny have just been installed. now you may ask, why the hell didn't he install it prior to dropping the motor in? well as luck would have it no one i checked with here in town had one available and i wanted to get the engine and trans in and running this weekend, which was a success!

so back to my original question, how much if a pain is it going to be, and where exactly on the trans does it go?

thanks in advance!

it's a pretty painless deal it goes on the passenger side of the tranny between the oil-fill and the outlets for the cooling lines you just gently pull up the tang in the hole (rightangeled needle nose pliers work good)put the hook from the cable thru the hole in the thang a small screw secures the cable to the tranny then just hookup the oyher end to your carb linkage

On my 3-speed manual to th350 swap that was the easiest thing I did.
The adjustment for it is just as easy. Hook it up. Lift the little clip deal on the back of the part that slides in the bracket. Move the arm on the carb to WOT. Push down the little clip deal. Done.
I understand all the cables are the same. The difference is the bracket that holds it up behind the carb.

Thanks for the info. It sounds easy enough so I'll just have to pick one up and get it installed.

Hook it to the carb before you screw down the bracket.

also on carb bracket insert one tab in square opening first then shove other side in. I tried to shove both tabs in at same time and broke tab on brand new cable. not enough room for both tabs at same time.
