I have a 2nd owner 1971 C30 with an old restoration. It still needs work, but I want to sell it to buy another motorcycle. I will post pictures of it soon. I just need help figuring out what it is worth. Nick

Pictures

I just pulled it out of the garage for the first time in two years. That is a couch in the back. The bed was all done in oak.

I would pay over $10,000 for that truck if it was mechanically sound. I think you will do well with that one. I hope my new project turns out as good as that one.

Do you have engine, interior shots?

More details

Well, the engine is a rebuilt 402 from GM. It has about 35000 miles on it. The factory AC was pulled out by my father. The shell and some of the parts are present. The interior is fine except for the seats. It was painted by Paint and Place in Placentia and the rest of the work was done by Orange County Hot Rods. It needs some work now, such as one door is showing a bubble under the paint (rust), chips in the hood, bedrails missing some paint, the tool compartment door was not hung right. The tranny is a turbo 400 about 10000 miles (shift kit), 4-10 gears, posi. two gas tanks. Bumpers need replacing. Thats about it. I'll post more pics if you want. If you know any buyers let me know. I am not in a rush, but it is for sale.

Thanks for the replys

Yes, this truck has done more work than anyone can imagine. It was used as a full work truck until I brought it down to CA from MT. We hauled wood, animals, rocks, trash, etc. in it. I put about $15,000.00 into it in 1997. It has never been in a wreck, but it had the normal Chevy rust spots, the wooden bed had holes in it, and the seat was well used (still is lol). The motor is in greta shape, and I got the transmission for a great deal. This thing is a rocket light to light. I have 32 inch BFG AT's with billet aluminum rims custom for the one ton. Over all, I did the best job I could do with it in 1997, but it is time for it to be worked on again. PS the shell i was refering to was the outer part of the AC unit. It is mostly all there but needs several parts to make it work again.
