'94 mirror upgrade

Guyz,
I have a '94 dually with the large exterior mirrors mounted on the brackets via the door skin. I'd like to ditch these and have the regular mirrors that are mounted up in the "corner" of the door glass like I see on regular pick-ups. Do I need to replace the entire door(s)???? or just find out what model year p/u mirrors will bolt onto my existing doors?????
Thanks in advance, eh?
Roy

any 88-98 mirror will bolt into your door. The 94-98s looks best and are available in power. You will have holes in you door though. The door skin mounted mirrors suck because if they barely bump anything the door gets trashed.

I hate to be annoying, but I have a concern about this. Will that door have the bolt holes in the window post? I mean it should be the same door just slapped on to a bigger truck. As far as the holes, just to keep the elements from entering the inner door, I would buy some plugs from AutoZone. They wouldn't be the slickest looking fix, but it would be better than seeing the lower portions of your door rotting away in a year or two.

Yes the door has the holes for the mirror in the corner. There is nothing different about a dually door and a 1/2 ton. There is a block off plate there. Even the Kodiak trucks have the same door and they have the mirror holes.
Of course you do want to put something in the old holes on the door, best to fill them in completely.
