parts!! parts cheap!!

I hit the truck parts jackpot last weekend! I found a local parts yard in phoenix on accident - they have like 40 fenders, 25 doors about 20 hoods 10 or more beds ( short too!!) and bedsides - columns, - a ton of cabs and about every little part you could want! - I paid 60 bucks for an immaculate hood for my 67! all the parts were ranging from 67 - 72 and they are blowing them out cheap!

here is the info:

Complete automotive recyclers
www.completeautomotiverecyclers.com

335 W, Elwood St.
Phoenix, AZ 85041
1-602-243-0707

I told them that I would get the word out - but the lady did'nt seem like anything would happen - so hopefully I prove her wrong on that.

thanks

their parts search showed up with nothing. I think they need to update it.

I called them thinking it would be some long lost junk yard but it sounded like the guy deals in 67-72 truck parts. just F.Y.I.

yeah, the guy has a love for our trucks big time - when I spoke to them, they said they were getting rid of all the stuff - the website does not list the parts for the 67-72 - cause up until recently they were not parts for sale - they were personal parts he was saving for his projects.

I am going back to try to get a bed - he quoted me 300 for a shortie without a tailgate. - it was a 69 bed in almost perfect condition - no rust at all!

cranknut67...I am still on the lookout for a short/fleet in decent, to good, condition. Actually all I need is the bedsides....do you know if he has just the sides? Did you see any other nice shorties out there, other than the one you are buying? Are they willing to ship? Thanks in advance for any info you may have!!

Thanks for the reference. I called Friday afternoon and talked to a great guy named mike. Told him I'm looking for a steering column for a 72 truck with a 4 speed on floor. He asked whats wrong with mine. Told him the coupler thing with the berring that the shaft goes to. He said I could get the shaft from the rag joint to near fire wall, and it would be cheaper. Id need to get a new rag joint, but that would fix me right up. Cool people there, too bad they are selling out.
