What did you get done?
It's time for our Sunday evening feature. What did you get done this weekend? As always, if you have pics we want to see them?
I didn't get much of anything truck related done besides washing a couple of them. My wifes Denali needed a good detail, and my Dodge was pretty dirty too. Of course all that effort was wasted because it rained today I spent most of Saturday with my daughter and some of her friends at Mountasia. Spending quality time with your kids is so rewarding.... |

i fought with my new 20 tank and lost, now wondering if i should wait till i get the eltric intank fuel pump off of my brothers 89 truck and full lines, or just go to the local autozone and get longer lines that go from the sending unit to the hard metal lines..im going to be hacked off if this doesn't help the truck hook up any!

well, Friday night was rather uneventful. i came home from work checked the boards, then took a nap. got up for a few hours, checked the boards again, then went back to bed. saturday i got up and headed to my buddy's house to attempt to finish off the K30. once again, mother nature stepped in and called it a no go. i came home and pulled the column and brake pedal out of my C10, and attempted to put in the hydro pedals. put the master cylinder in the wrong hole, and couldn't figure out why the pushrod wouldnt move, decided to call it a night and head for another friend's house for a bonfire. this morning i got up, and went to pick up yet another friend and head to a mud bog. got a little sunburned, and rained on, but it was well worth the trip. lots of breakage, lots of tractor tired rigs, and lots of hotties covered in mud. came home and did the brakes on my dad's '99 Silverado, then finished up my hydro clutch. my best friend stopped by on her way home from drill. she told me how 11 people from her unit got transfered to another unit. they told them that 20 people will be shipped out in 2 weeks, 2 weeks later 20 more, and then 2 weeks after that, 20 more. bad thing is, there were only 70 people in her unit to begin with.

Put 35x12.50s on new 15x10 wheels Friday night.... Saturday had a wedding & reception to attend... and today (Sunday) I spent all day at the mud hole with my truck & four wheelers. Hung out with some friends and had a real good time. The new tires work WELL in the mud and surprisingly aren't loud at any speed, even with the windows down.

I was looking forward to attending a local car show (without my truck, ) but it rained. I was also wanting to get the new bed bolt holes drilled, but another weekend is down the crapper.

Got the bed pulled off so I can get the flip kit installed and made it to the junkyard to pick up a sway bar and brackets for the front.

Friday night I got the new transmission bolted in my Blazer, and the lockup kit installed in it. Just need to put the driveshaft, cooler lines, and new trans cooler lines in. Looking forward to having 4 gears instead of 3.
Saturday and Sunday, we built a new fence in my backyard. I feel like I have been hit by a bus.... |

I won an Ebay auction for a four speed tilt column for my truck at a reasonable price.
Helped my brother swap cabs from his LWB donor to his SWB project. He had a pair of Genie lifts that made the whole project a painless 2 man Friday evening deal. |

Trucks I did nothing. I did take a nice 65 mile round trip in the 75 Saturday to help a friend build a Cross tie wall thats about 35ft long and half of it was over 6ft tall. OHHHHH My Aching back!
Sunday I taught myself how to do Forimica and redid the master bath vanity. We started remodleing the bath a couple weeks ago. decided the vanity was beat and needed replacing. Of course the hole is 45 inches at the front and 43 at the back, nothing standard including the counter top. Was able to salvage the old top but we hated the look. Redid in frost white and I have to say it came out pretty good. Bathroom looks 1000% better. Get the door inside of the door frame in and base boards and a little paint and it's done deal. Next week the 84 Yota goes. It may be replaced by a 86 or 87 Yota 4Runner....Then I need to decide if my 75 gets parted if I get another Yota.

I did nothing again. I am still hopping around on one foot with a walker because of my ankle surgeries. I was able to return to work last week, though. The doctor says I should be able to start walking again after July 1st.
The only "progress pics" I could post are of my incisions. Slonaker |

Well, prior to the weekend, I was able to fix my dome light where it would come on when the door was opened. I guess my uncle didn't like that feature and removed the door jamb switches. O'Reilly helped out with that one.
Then Friday morning, my brother-in-law and another friend of ours drove to Dallas for the weekend. We watched Dennis Setzer win the Nascar Craftsman Truck race on Friday night (in a Chevy I might add) , went to a great gun show on Saturday at Market Hall in Dallas, stopped in a looked at some awesome bikes at a couple of Harley shops, and then picked up the IRL race Saturday night. Got home Sunday in time to watch the Nextel Cup boys on TV and get a little nap before church time on Sunday evening. For anyone who's interested, here's a pic of Setzer's burnout (from Nascar's website) after wining the truck race Friday night... Mike W. |

I got started installing my turbocharger!
I got the turbo manifold installed, the turbo sitting on the manifold, and a bunch of other little items. I can see this is going to take a while longer than I thought. I'll probably end up working on it every night this week, and all day Saturday. Hopefully I can have it running by then. Casey

On saturday I finaly got the a/c fixed. It blows nice and cold now. Saturday night had some friends over for some tasty BBQ (Pork ribs, sasuage, ribeyes) followed by darts and a bunch of beers. Sunday had to buy a new digital camera for the wife after the old camera descided to die. But that's fine...I picked up a new head unit and 4 speakers at the same time which are going in tonight.

Absolutely nothing. Sort of like Dan said.
Tomorrow, I expect the big brown truck to drop off some stuff though.
