Uh oh! Little C10 racing action this weekend!!
So, two of my friends and I were talking..and since we all have small block C10's around the same year (Two of us have 75's, the other has a 78), we thought for kicks and grins, we'd have a little racing action, just to see who's the fastest C10 in the club. (Our car club, Quarter Mile Club)
Here's a run down of the other two trucks: 78 C10 shortfleet 350 (stock rebuild (Like 2 or 3 years ago), Performer Intake, Stock QJet Carb, Stock Exhaust Manifolds, No muffler/cat, TH350 Tranny, 2.73 gears, 245/45 17's up front 275/50 17's out back, 6/5 drop 75 C10 shortstep 350 (stock rebuild, like last year), Performer Intake, Comp 262H cam, Holley 600 carb, Heddman Headers-Dual 2½" Crush Bent with 2 chamber flows, TH350, 3.42 gears, 275/40 17's all around, 5/7 drop We're all peglegs, and we all weigh in around 3800-4000lbs with driver. It's really going to come down to who can get the truck off the line the best. Should be fun! Here are the other two trucks, in the order I posted em. |

Should be fun....I sure hope you plan to take it to the drag strip and not on the street.
And since you live in Modesto, I would be surprised if there isn't a strip within driving distance. Street racing is for losers. BTW...no offense
