Timing

So today I was running the truck at higher RPMs ( 4000+ ) to see if my pinging problem went away. Nope. I adjusted the total timing from 35d to 32d which is what the motor is spec'ed to. No good. I do not like this one bit. To make things even better, it started to surge antime I tried to get on it. It started to do this earlier before I started to mess with the timing so I have YET another bug to workon.

Texas lottos at 100mill. What am I waitinf for?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

How are you getting to 35 or 32? What is the curve? In other words, when does advance start and when is it full in? Total timing is fine and what you shoot for, but the advance curve needs attention too. I would venture a guess you had the total coming in too soon. Are you using lighter springs?
