Thumbs up

Eastwood sells the paint and stuff to refinish them. Haven't used their wheel paint, but I've used some of thir other products and I'm really pleased.

I think it's called Argent Silver.

I have had good luck with the paint sold at Autozone. It is marked as for wheels. It's a pretty close match and it applied well. I think it's made by Duplicolor and listes as Wheel paint.

The Eastwood Rally Wheel paint is an exact match and will hold up for years. I had to replace a rim on an insurance claim involving running over a CJ-5 driveshaft on the Interstate about 7 years ago (a long story for another time). The insurance co. bought me a new GM rim, not a junkyard piece. The new ones come in flat black primer- no paint. I used Eastwood's paint and it's held up great-- no peeling, flaking, rust, etc. Plus, it truly is an exact color match-- that warm silver quality to it.

Good luck!

VHT makes it. I bought some for the ralleys on my van from Eastwood also. I don't think it's listed as Argent Silver, although that is the color. I believe it is listed as Matches GM Ralley Silver. Anyway, if you know of a local place who sells VHT paint, they should have it. I searched everywhere close by me and no one had it.

I sand blasted mine, primered, then painted. I did remove the tires first. If there is any rust on the inside of the wheels it is best to get rid of it. I have had problems with this in the past. Rust would cause the tire to lose its seal. I would constantly get flat tires. I did have a hard time finding the argent silver paint. 78 stepside, 02 silverado, 02 blazer extreme
