Question 15" Wheels on a 97 Z71 4WD?

Does anyone know if 15" wheel will fit on my 1997 Z71? It comes stock with 16" but I found a killer deal on rims. Local parts store was no help. My old 1991 Silverado fit them, but it was only 2 wheel drive.

Thanks,
Scott

It has been done, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll fit your truck. They probably will, but you'd have to bolt 'em up to be sure they'll clear everything.

I thought they came stock with 15" rims? Or was that just the 4X4s or 6-8 lug rims?

Stock wheels on a 97 4x4, even z-71s were 16"
15" wheels will clear fine on this body style. I see them everyday. Lots of people put 15" wheels and 33" tires
NBS trucks will not fit 15" wheels, even some 16" won't clear

i have a 97 4x4 with 15x10" wheels and 31-10.50's. no clearnace problems but i dont think i could go bigger w/o a body lift. tires are close to bumper in a turn, but dont rub. also lost about 40-50 miles
a tank with them. factory wheels are back on now and mileage is back too. i miss the look of the 15 10s though.

15's will fit. I ran 15X10 with 33's before body lift, same wheels and 35's with a body lift, and same wheels with 40's with body, suspension and gears.
