this years progress

hey guys, i don't spend much time here mostly because i found an ezboard for michiganders that is very helpful but i have gotten some good tips here for my first major chevy truck project. anyway, i thought i'd share some pics of my old beast, its nothing special, just a mud toy but i've had a great time learning and working on it.

here's what i had last fall.....and no, the hood scoop is not attached. by the end of the year the cab was sagging badly, the hood had blown open on the road and was pretty bent up and ofcourse there's the 70's front clip on the 80's truck that i never liked.

this is the 2wd i picked up this spring

after a body and engine transplant. my dog "mojo" likes it!

and finally a day in the mud with my daughter

Wonder if someone could photoshop a dodge to replace the chevy into that picture with the dog. Could post up on my wall.

Nice trucks. Was that mudding some kind of event, or just having fun with friends??

i thought the same thing! if the dodge and ford boys find that picture, it'll prolly be spread all over the place.

a couple local guys have open invitation mud runs about 5 times every summer.....its just a spot for good ol boys to go for free and play all day in the mud.

I know, man. I've searched everywhere, and no one makes those 'piss on dodge stickers'. Only custom made.

Sounds like fun. I need to get a 4x4. Just running thru the mud on foot ain't cuttin it.

The dog is clearly pissing on the truck because he likes it and he is claiming it as his territory.

Very nice mud pics!
